What has contributed to your growth as an artist?
My artistic development was shaped by several crucial factors. On the one hand, it was the constant engagement with my own environment and the topics that move me - be it nature, interpersonal connections or emotions. On the other hand, I was inspired by continuous learning and exchange with other artists as well as visiting art fairs.
An important milestone was finding my own style that reflects my personality. The discovery of techniques that give my images depth and liveliness has made a significant contribution to this. Ultimately, it is also the passion that drives me: the joy of telling stories with colors and shapes and sharing them with others.
What was the inspiration behind this work?
This piece was inspired by the spirit of tradition, nostalgia, and the deep-rooted connection between humans and nature. The depiction of a cow meeting Santa Claus represents a whimsical fusion of rural life and festive magic, symbolizing harmony, warmth, and a sense of togetherness during the holiday season.
The cow, an emblem of simplicity and rustic charm, carries a bell that echoes the sounds of Alpine pastures, while Santa embodies generosity and joy. By bringing these elements together, I aimed to create a narrative that celebrates the kindness and wonder of the season, inviting viewers to reflect on timeless values and the beauty of unexpected connections.
If you could buy an artwork by another artist, which one would it be and why?
If I could buy a piece of art, it would be a self-portrait by Frida Kahlo. Her art fascinates me because of the extraordinary power to represent personal experiences and emotions in symbols and colors. I particularly admire how she processes pain and identity in such a powerful way, creating works that are both intimate and universal.
Her ability to infuse reality with surreal elements is inspiring to me. It reminds me that art can externalize a person's inner world while revealing deeper truths about life - an approach I try to take in my own work.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future focus on continuing to develop my artistic language while taking on new creative challenges. I would like to delve more deeply into larger series that explore complex themes such as human-nature relationships and emotional resonance in even greater depth.
An important step will also be participating in several art fairs in order to present my work to a broader international audience. I also plan to deepen the dialogue with art lovers and collectors by sharing more insights into my creative process and the stories behind my works.
In the long term, I see my work as an ongoing journey - a constant growth and experimentation that allows me to tell what moves me more and more authentically and powerfully.
